The GCN Service team is comprised of self-supporting missionaries, administrative staff, contractors and volunteers that serve under the leadership of the Network Coordinator. The goal of the Service Team is to serve YOU! Service Team members work to facilitate collaboration, research best practices, develop and distribute curriculum, and build the capacity of the network and its members for Global impact.
Tim comes to the GCN Service Team with a wealth of experience which equips him well to serve as our Field Operations Manager.
Tim has spent most of his life in West Africa, having grown up in the the remote, agricultural village of Sanekuy. He and his wife, Ruth, met while they were in college and then served the Lord as a family in Burkina Faso with a focus on community development. This initial focus on Burkina Faso soon expanded into a regional role, training and empowering leadership in multiple countries.
After 23 years of serving as a West Africa regional community development consultant and facilitator, Tim was asked to join ECHO Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida. While Tim’s primary role during his 14 years at ECHO was in the capacity of Chief Operations Officer, Tim has always been passionate about the whole (wholistic) gospel given to the whole church for the whole world. This reality has been a driving force and significantly shaped the heart of his ministry!
Tim and Ruth have three adult children, all of whom were born in West Africa. They also have one granddaughter, who has captured their hearts and requires frequent visits.
