Health Education Lessons

What are the most important health problems in the world today? How can they be prevented or managed at home? What are guidelines suggested by the World Health Organization?

This series of health lessons tackles those key issues. The Health Education lessons could be used as basic health training for CHEs, or with older children and teens. The health education lessons are accompanied by trifold health picture books, so they can share these health skills with their friends and neighbors.

The lessons are based on information and illustrations from the Health Education Program For Developing Countries, as well as other sources. Many thanks to Virginia Mashburn Baron for the excellent illustrations, and to Arnold Gorske for researching and compiling the teaching materials.

The Health Education Program manual and illustrations can be downloaded free. They are available for download in English, Spanish, Mandarin, French and Khmer.
